The concert began with a performance of one of the songs that started it all, “The Beach”. Like the lyrics in the song, “ I don’t know if it was fireworks or gunshots,” something definitely sparked the momentum and energy of the crowd. Fans knew the song word for word and the room was filled with excitement and singing.

The venue was packed to capacity, and so we’re the lungs and the vocals of the fans in attendance, as they hit the high notes with the artist. Giveon continued to showcase his talent and incredible raw vocals. Fans were heard mentioning “this sounds just like the recordings,” in awe at the authenticity of the R&B artist’s amazing voice. It felt unreal! The energy in the room was so mellow, free and soothing. It was definitely the place to be on a Friday night!

The beat dropped for Giveons hit feature on Drakes “Chicago Freestyle,” and the crowd went crazy! The iconic track pumped up the crowd and changed the entire ambiance from smooth, to hype. Although this track was a feature, Giveon gave the crowd an entire track which seemed like a freestyle itself, but showed the artistic raw talent he possesses.

As the concert continued, Giveon greeted the audience with a wine glass and ensured an unforgettable performance. He was getting ready to sing hit song, “Stuck On You,” but the crowd was singing so loud he decided to make interactive cues and let his fans sing right back to him. This definitely let him know his fans were so in tune with his performance and each other, as they continued throughout the entire song. Houston fans left an unforgettable impression!

The concert came to an end with the hit song “Heartbreak Anniversary,” which gave Houston a mild heartbreak to see the show conclude. Fans went home content and eager for the next show.
