Houston gets Bichota

As you entered Smart Financial Center Wednesday night you started seeing women with beautiful aqua blue hair; you couldn’t find a section of the audience that didn’t have a dedicated fan with blue strands matching Karol G’s. “On Social media it’s always incredible to see what women are planning to wear to the Karol G concert. Then I step out on stage and I see all of you for real, looking fine!”

The Colombian Superstar was in Houston after rescheduling a show from October and the fans were READY! The screams and cheers were piercing, not just when Karol took the stage, but all throughout the night. Fans sang every song, word for word with all of their heart as the danced the night away. Karol G danced up and down a set of stairs, centerstage, surrounded by her troupe of dancers and all female band. “On the real, Thank you! I can’t believe all of the incredible things happening in my career and on this stage. I can’t believe yall are all here for me and to share this with me.” Karol G

Jennifer Lake

Jennifer is a Houston native, she recieved her first camera as a toddler and has been passionate about photography her whole life.
She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography in December 2012.
Since then, she’s been published in Rolling Stone, The New York Post, The Houston Press, amongst many others. Her photos have been featured on CNN, and ABC World News Tonight. She’s been published internationally in Germany, France, England, Russia, and Denmark to name a few.

Jennifer and her husband, Cameron, are passionate about music and sharing their love of live music with others. They often tag-team shows with Cameron writing reviews, and Jennifer photographing the concert.
