Zilker park swapped out the muddy festival grounds for a dusty one and welcomed festival goers to Austin City limit’s Weekend Two!
Charli XCX turned Zilker into her club
The British singer-songwriter and actress headlined the festival for the second weekend and owned the stage. Charli was so perfectly herself and turned the stage into her runway. She was weird, confident and a total showstopper tonight.
She opened the show with “Rock Music,” “Yeah” and “Apple.” Charli effortlessly switched between pop subgenres of, electropop, hyperpop, bubblegum bass, dance-pop, and synth-pop throughout her set.

Earlier this week Charli hinted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she has a surprise for Austin. Fans had many theories on who the surprise guest could be (she brought out Troye Sivan last weekend). In a true surprise to her audience, Charlie brought out Tinashe, an American singer-songwriter and dancer.
Tinashe’s appearance during Charli’s set included solo performances of, “Melatonin” and “Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore” from her new album “Popstar.”
Charlie also played, “360,” “Von Dutch,” “Guess” and “Girl, so confusing,” fan favorites from her hit album “BRAT.”
The singer closed the set with “No One Lasts Forever” with a spoken interlude from David Cronenberg, Canadian film director and screenwriter.
Chainsmokers’s pre-headliner set was the perfect setup
The Chainsmokers’s pre-headliner set was the perfect setup to Charli’s electric performance. The electronic duo played their hits such as “Something Like This,” “Paris” and “Closer.” They also played “The Climb” from Hannah Montana and added their own beats to it.

There is nothing quite like female rage
Paris Paloma, a pop-folk feminist icon, took the Miller Lite stage today and delivered a powerful performance filled with songs focused on the patriarchal system and misogyny.
The singer performed, “Heaven is a Fat Girl,” “Silhouette on the Hill,” “Paris,” and “My First Name” among other songs.
Paloma closed her set with her viral hit, “Labor” and the entire crowd was loud, frustrated and angry. Paloma’s fears and frustration about the patriarchy was reflected in the pain and frustration from the audience.

No rain but the audience released their inhibitions
A weekend two exclusive act, Natasha Bedingfield, sang her popular hit “Unwritten” to an extremely crowded yet enthusiastic audience.
The British singer-songwriter also sang “Pocket Full of Sunshine” and a new song dedicated to athletes that don’t give up regardless of any setbacks.
Kings of Leon, Leon Thomas, Sienna Spiro were among some other artists that played on Friday.
