The jaw-dropping exhibition started off strong with Universal Champion Roman Reigns teaming up with Jay and Jimmy Uso to face Edge and longtime friend/Tag Team Championship partner Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik. The fight began with quick strikes by the Mysterio duo but resulted in Dominik taking the majority of the attacks once the pair were separated. Although Edge was able to down Reigns ringside with his signature “Spear” move, the underdogs witnessed an upset after a quick pin by Jey Uso.

But the fight didn’t end there as the Uso brothers continued their attack on the Mysterios. The viscous beatdown finally came to a halt with teammate Edge to the rescue, bringing out a foldable chair as weaponry to use against the onslaught. Another quick back-and-forth between Roman and Edge resulted in the Universal Champ tapping out as Edge replicated his previous win over Reigns using a chair leg as a bar gag.

The next match would be a quick but exciting one as Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox defeated Womens Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina in just under four minutes. Upset with the results of the match the two teams continued their bout throughout the intermission.

Next, in an exhausting eleven minute match, Womens Champion Belair defeated Carmella to keep her title. The rollercoaster fight resulted in multiple close-call pins and too many hard-hitting replays to count. Ultimately, it was Belair’s counter to Carmella’s long held “Guillotine” submission that finished her off.

A confusing upset followed in the next match as Cesaro defeated Otis by disqualification. The match had only been going for less than a minute before Otis’ colleague Chad Gables entered the ring and illegally hit Cesaro from behind. Upset with the results the two continued their attack on Cesaro before being removed by the referees.

Finally, the main event; The Fatal Four-Way free-for-all. Seth Rollins kept his distance as Big E, Kevin Owens, and King Nakamura battled it out. The vulgar brawl was chaotic and all over the place until Kevin Owens leveled Nakamura though the announcement table from the top of a twenty foot ladder. With Owns and Nakamura out for the remainder of the match, it came down to a furious 1 v 1 between Rollins and Big E. With the two opponents using ladders as weapons the match ended with a hard hitting slam with by Rollins to allow the pin on Big E.

With bodies strung across the floor, Rollins set up his ladder and made his way to the top of the ring to claim his Money in The Bank briefcase. While above the ring, Rollins took time to address the crowd and express his thoughts on the right to own his new title, but was rudely interrupted by a handful of wrestlers waiting for their chance at Rollins. While the cameras were off, an official free-for-all Battle Royale then began against Rollins for who would get a chance to face Roman Reigns with Big E coming out victorious.
