The soul trio, Thee Sacred Souls, made their Houston debut at Axelrad Saturday night, June 11. The San Diego based band is rooted from Chicano soul music, vinyl records, and Cali’s lowrider culture. The crowd’s response was more than just a positive one, fans were swaying back and forth to lead singer Josh Lane’s magical voice, lost in the moment he created. The band brought the soul and gave every hopeless romantic the hope for newfound true love. It was as if the band was serenading the audience! Such a lovely performance.
