Teyana Taylor did nothing short from delivering pure excellence last night at Bayou Music Center in Houston for her “The Last Rose Petal 2…Farewell Tour”. The base of her performance began with a cinematic stage set up that was complimented with intricately styled wardrobe. What elevated her show beyond the next level was the amazing choreography with her back up dancers that had everyone’s jaw dropping. The unforgiving passion in Teyana’s delivery left me in awe. She incorporated live renditions within her set which gave each song a strong voice behind its message. One portrayal was of her murdering a lover by breaking his neck where she then ran away covered in his blood only to get caught and taken into an interrogation. As the night progressed she changed into a sexy red lingerie piece that had the crowd going wild! Here she engaged in very seductive and suggestive interactions with her dancers. Needless to say, many fans in the crowd were a little envious of her dancers at that moment. Teyana is truly going out in a blaze of glory with her farewell tour and we’re sad to see her go.
