Sunday at ACL: A Look Back at Day 3’s Highlights & Performances

With a time-haze, energized crowds and magnificent performances, Austin Limits Musical Festival 2025 comes to an end.

The Killers deliver a performance filled with showmanship

The American rock band, The Killers, were announced as the closing headliners only 37 days ago and they delivered a truly brilliant performance.

They started off strong with one of their biggest hits, “Mr. Brightside” and “Spaceman” getting the crowd excited and dancing. As the lead singer, Brandon Flowers, brought the showmanship and engaged the crowd and kept everyone dancing and singing through their set.

They played songs from multiple albums, such as “Smile Like You Mean It,” “Caution” and “Bones.” As well as two country covers, Johnny Bush’s “Whiskey River” and Gwen McCrae’s “You Were Always on My Mind.”

The crowd came alive during the band’s song, “All These Things That I’ve Done” and loudly sang “I’ve got a soul but I’m not a soldier.”

The band went away and came back for the encore and closed their set and the festival with “Human” and an animated performance of “When You Were Young.”

However, the end of their show felt like it was missing the final send-off from the festival: fireworks. Despite the missing pizzazz, the rock band delivered an energetic performance to close off ACL 2025.

Gigi Perez slows the crowd down

In the afternoon heat, Gigi Perez returned to ACL (she previously performed in 2021) and took the Ladybird stage to perform to the crowd and slow them down with her gut-wrenching songs.

The singer-songwriter blended pop and indie sounds to perform “When She Smiles,” “Fabel,” “Normalcy” and “Nothing, Absolutely.”

Perez brought out her younger sister on stage during a song as well, after she talked about losing her older sister and her grief before she performed “At the Beach, in Every Life.”

With truly stunning vocals and an amazing band behind her, Perez ended her set with her hit song “Sailor Song.”

Feid energizes the crowd

Feid, a Colombian singer, songwriter and producer, performed on the T-Mobile stage and got the crowd dancing and singing with green lights and visuals.

T-Pain, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, The Bends, Supertaste, The Dare and Wet Leg, were among some other artists who performed on Sunday to close off this year’s festival.
