How exhilarating it was to witness Odd Eye Circle grace the U.S. with a long-anticipated performance for their dedicated fans! Odd Eye Circle, a three-member K-Pop girl group unit under Modhaus, comprises the talented members Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry. This marked OEC’s official first tour since branching off as a sub-group from LOONA, and they curated an unforgettable experience, inviting fans into a unique universe through a meticulously coordinated setlist, captivating dance routines, and cute wardrobe choices that showcased the girls’ stunning presence.
The highlight of the evening was the opportunity for each member to shine with solo performances. Kim Lip set the stage aglow with “Eclipse,” followed by the crowd-favorite “Singing in the Rain” passionately sung by JinSoul. The group also delivered mesmerizing duets, including “Love Letter” with Kim Lip and JinSoul, and “Puzzle” with Choerry and JinSoul. The energy surged with unexpected covers, such as JinSoul’s rendition of SZA’s “Kill Bill,” where her vocals did absolute justice to the track. Kim Lip covered Tyla’s viral hit “Water,” prompting the crowd to dance like ocean waves, while Choerry elevated the atmosphere with an energetic performance of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.” A personal favorite was the funky and powerful performance of “Je Ne Sais Quoi.”
The air at OEC’s show crackled with an electric atmosphere, a palpable blend of enthusiasm and shared passion. Time seemed to stand still as the audience immersed themselves in the live performance, experiencing the raw and unfiltered essence of the music. OEC’s show was a genuine celebration of sound and emotion, creating heartwarming moments as fans held up light sticks and photo cards, proudly displaying their OEC or LOONA merchandise. For those new to Kpop, I highly recommend adding OEC to your playlist and catching them in your city for an unforgettable musical get away!
