Lamb of God Celebrates 20 Years of Ashes of the Wake

Lamb of God, the Grammy nominated, Billboard charting, band from Virginia, rolled into Houston Sunday night for the Ashes of the Leviathan tour at 713 Music Hall. Playing their 2004 breakout album Ashes of the Wake in its entirety, the bands setlist was a punch in the face of brutality and nostalgia. Starting the night off with their lead single from the album, Laid to Rest, the crowd’s immediate, chaotic reaction set the tone for the night. The continuous assault of back to back hardcore anthems like Hourglass, Now You’ve Got Something to Die For, and The Faded Line kept the energy at 100% throughout the set.
