“Baby Please” is a poignant Sierreño ballad, embodying Ivan’s distinctive emotive style. Throughout the track, Ivan passionately implores his lover to reflect on their shared journey and consider the potential beauty of their relationship if nurtured with care moving forward.
Penned by Ivan in his hometown of Riverside, California, the song is produced by his longtime collaborator Frank Rio. Ivan opened up about his new single stating, “This song was inspired by the desperate desire we feel during our lowest moments in a break up. We hate the attachment but love the thought of a rekindled love. I wanted this song to feel like I’m vulnerable but at the same time willing to fight for her.”
Ivan is presently in the studio, crafting his upcoming album. Over the next few months, he’s slated to take center stage at the Sueños Festival in Chicago and Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Additionally, in January, Ivan was spotlighted as a digital cover star in Billboard’s ‘Genre Now’ series.
