Houston Blames Canada – Simple Plan and Sum 41 Sell Out House of Blues

The ‘Blame Canada Tour’ took Houston’s House of Blues by storm on a Sunday night, July 31. Canadian Pop-Punk legends Simple Plan and Sum 41 co-headlined, with support from Magnolia Park, and had the Music Hall at House of Blues Houston shoved full to capacity. The two headliners made sure to mix things up and throw in a few surprises for their fans, with Sum 41 taking a break from their hits to have fun comparing solos of ‘Seven Nation Army,’ ‘Smoke on the Water,’ and a ‘We Will Rock You sing-along.’ Simple Plan tossed things up with a Party Mix consisting of ‘Rock Star,’ ‘Sk8r Boy,’ and ‘Mr. Brightside’ before going straight into ‘What’s Up Scooby Doo.’
