Jack Johnson and Ziggy Marley performed at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion Friday, August 26, for Jack’s “Meet the Moonlight” Tour. Ziggy Marley set the tone for the night as he opened, and I must say, his music and energy were top tier.
Jack Johnson followed playing an array of classics such as “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing”, “Upside Down”, and of course “Banana Pancakes”.
Although Jack and Ziggy’s musical styles are very different, the listening experience was much the same. Ziggy brought the head nodding, Jack brought the foot tapping, and between the pair they kept a full house of fans wearing smiles and dancing all night!
