Eslabon Armado Threw a Pachanga at Smart Financial Centre

Eslabon Armado, the hottest grupo de Regional Mexicano out now, threw a pachanga at Smart Financial Centre for their Desveladxs tour on July 7. Seriously, they had their entire family, entourage, and even brought some lucky fans on to the stage to party with them. Lead singer Pedro Tovar showed so much love to his fans during the performance through interactions, selfies, even taking fans’ phones to record himself for them. The ladies were geeked to say the least. His father, who is also his manager, was selecting the loudest fans to go on stage, was handing out free merch, and meet & greet wristbands. Eslabon Armado is one of the most humble, giving, and loving acts I’ve ever witnessed. They showed so much gratitude to their fans. I still get chills rewatching footage from the show, it was truly a great display of talent and passion.

Their performance was stellar and they gave fans their money’s worth with a full two hour set. They performed so many fan favorites like “Baby,” “Hasta La Muerte,” “Quien Es El?,” “La Diabla,” and “Dos Morritas.” Pedro honored the Houston crowd with an exclusive first listen to an unreleased song. His father cut him off midway so he wouldn’t spill too much of the song but needless to say, the fans are eager for the new song’s release. Eslabon Armado is widely known for their “sad boys” style of lyricism and fans mirrored that as they sung their hearts out. The level of passion I witnessed as fans sang and danced along was a display of comfort. Eslabon Armado’s music touches hearts in a unique way and it can be felt even stronger through their live performance. In that moment you don’t feel alone, you feel connected through the music.

To lighten things up at one point during the show they paused to host a little competition between a few ladies where they were asked to dance with one of the band members for prize money. Let’s just say those ladies had a night they will never forget. The show was wrapped up with their hot #1 hit, “Ella Baila Sola” paired with confetti and high energy forcing the crowd to go wild!

You don’t need therapy, you just need an Eslabon Armado concert.
