Composed of Johnny Venus and WOWGr8, the duo known as EARTHGANG had the crowd jamming and jumping to their eccentric sound the entire night.

The show started with Pote Baby coming straight out of Savannah, GA. The energy that Pote brought was exactly what the crowd needed. With the bass pumping and the crowd jumping, Pote showed his passion for his music and performed while dancing across the stage. Performing with Pote was Flip Fone Fab another Savannah-based artist who also brought a powerful performance with him. Before leaving the stage Flip Fone Fab performed an unreleased track of his own set to release later next month. If his upcoming project is anything like his live performance, it is sure going to be worth listening to. Their set came to an end with Pote performing “Das Me” the last track from his latest project “Turtle Crossing”. This track was a great choice as it was a great transition from the energy that they started with as it brought their set to a smooth close.
Hollywood JB hit the stage next and kept the crowd rocking with some very impressive lyrical verses. Performing one of his most recent singles “It’s Yours” Hollywood JB continues to show his talent as a solo artist. JB has only had one solo project that he dropped in 2014 “Triumph” however he has been hard at work as both an artist and producer. Even though JB is a Baltimore native he is no stranger to the EARTHGANG-Atlanta culture as he is a member and producer of the collective group of artists known as Spillage Village. Spillage Village originating out of Atlanta includes Olu, WowGr8, JID, Hollywood JB, Jordxn Bryant, Mereba, 6lack, and Benji. Hollywood JB ended his set with the unreleased track “Brand New” which we need to be on the lookout for as it was a great sound compared to some of the tracks his fans may be used to.
Up next was Texas’ very own Mike Dimes. Mike kept it chill performing a couple of tracks from his recent project “IN DIMES WE TRUST”. Starting his set off with “LUV” Dimes showed the crowd his unique southern sound. Originally from Temple, Dimes grew up in a military family that took him throughout the Midwest before finally holding it down in San Antonio. The young artist has a lot going on with two projects under his belt so far while simultaneously finishing his degree in Business Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dimes paid respect to his home state ending his set with “HOME”. Dimes let us know one thing for sure when it comes to his music, he’s not going anywhere.
Around 8:45 pm The curtains closed, and the lights dimmed as the House of Blues stage got prepared for EARTHGANG. The venue was still riding the high of the 3 previous acts dancing to the music the House DJ was playing but started to become impatient with anticipation of the Headliners. The curtains opened around 09:30 pm revealing a multicoloured strobe set up surrounding the stage and a live band. The crowd cheered in excitement as “The Glow” starts to play with the musical backing of the band itself. Being the intro song to their latest Ghetto Gods album it was a great way to start their portion of the show. The song continues into the title track “Ghetto Gods” as the duo hit the stage. The roar of the crowd proved the 45-minute wait was well worth it. Listening to EARTHGANG’s music is one thing but seeing them live was an unforgettable experience. Having a DJ and live band made their performance that much better. They know how to create an atmosphere that allows their fans to not only just hear their music but also feel the meaning and message behind it as well. In between songs they would shout “When I say EARTH! Yall’ say GANG!” “EARTH!” and the crowd would shout back “GANG!” which helped them gauge how the venue was feeling in preparation for each track. What was very notable was how inspiring and positive the two were towards their fans. Encouraging everybody to have a powerful mindset and outlook on their life. Their performance was well over an hour and their choice of songs from their catalogue seemed to perfectly mesh with the crowd’s energy. Ending the show with “Run Too” sounded great with the live band. This happens to be is also the last track on the album so it was a great way bring a great show to a close.
