“D Fearless” Demola Electrifies Houston with Genre-Bending Mastery at 713 Music Hall

Houston’s 713 Music Hall was alive with energy as Nigerian-born performer Ademola Daniel Babafemi, professionally known as Demola the Violinist, took the stage for his “D Fearless” tour. From the moment he walked on Demola had fans hooked, playing a lively rendition of Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day,” was a mesmerizing moment setting the tone for a night that blended technical virtuosity with infectious joy.

A self-taught violinist, Demola effortlessly moved between genres, covering hits like “Outstanding” (Gap Band), “Lose Control” (Teddy Swims), “Leave the Door Open” (Silk Sonic), and “Love TKO” (Teddy Pendergrass), while his stage presence kept every eye on him. He danced, joked, and engaged the audience in call-and-response moments, even leaving the stage to perform among the crowd weaving through the audience rows to ensure every attendee could experience his performance up close., drawing cheers and applause with every note.

Back on stage, the genre-hopping continued. Demola moved seamlessly from R\&B classics like “Before I Let Go” (Maze), “Poison” (BBD), “September” (Earth, Wind & Fire), and “Never Too Much” (Luther Vandross), to pop favorites like “Thinking Out Loud” (Ed Sheeran) and “Living on a Prayer” (Bon Jovi), even venturing into country with “Tennessee Whiskey” (Chris Stapleton).

The night reached another peak as Demola showcased his award-winning original Afro-beat tracks, including “Feelings,”“One in a Million,” and “Will You Be My Lover.” His radiant energy radiated across the hall, and the crowd returned it tenfold, singing, dancing, and celebrating each genre-blurring performance.

By the final note, it was clear that Demola the Violinist had turned 713 Music Hall into a joyous celebration of musical versatility, connection, and pure performance magic.
