Blxst kicked off his “I’ll Always Come Find You” tour in Houston, and the energy was high from the start. Opening up was Joony, who set the vibe with some of his best tracks, including “Paper Soldier” with Brent Faiyaz and “FYTB.” Joony’s stage presence got the crowd moving, and just before the set ended, he announced that he’s dropping a new album, JRNY, with Jordan Ward this Friday.
Next up was Leon Thomas, and he came in strong. Before he hit the stage, his DJ hyped up the crowd with some of the hits Leon has written for artists like Drake, SZA, and Bryson Tiller. Leon recently dropped his album MUTT, and he played crowd favorites like “Safe Place,” “Answer the Phone,” and “Far Fetched.” As soon as he stepped up to the mic, the audience was singing along word for word, matching his energy and setting the perfect tone for the night’s main act.
When Blxst finally took the stage, he started with a skit where he argued with a girl over the phone in an office setting. Then, the real show began. He kicked things off with “Paper Route,” followed by “Too Many Nights” and “Risk” from his new album. By the time he hit the third track, everyone was on their feet, singing every word, drinks in hand, dancing with their friends, and feeling the vibe. It was a night full of good music, great energy, and unforgettable moments.
