The Fall of Ideals boosted the bands popularity from their underground status to a household name among metalheads in the late 2000’s. With the single “This Calling” featured as the title track for the 2006 horror film Saw III and “Six” featured on the popular rhythm game Guitar Hero 3, getting them their first billboard chart.

The celebration of the albums anniversary couldn’t have been held at a better spot. The small, compact area of the venue transported you back to the year the album was released. When the band was just getting going and selling out the metal bars.

Everyone was packed in as tightly as they could and the band was mere feet away. The initial crash symbol countdown and lead singer Phil’s iconic beginning scream on the opening song kicked off what would be an energetic and intense play-through of the entire album.

Hearing the hits are always great but catching the rarely played live deep cuts of the album is the treat. Hearing the crowd sing along to the songs you think you might only know, lets you feel the greatness of the band, that all of their songs hold value and there are no skips or filler.
