ACL Day 3 Recap: Twenty-One Pilots set the stage on fire

Sparks flying, flames a-blaze, Twenty one pilots closed out weekend two of Austin City Limits 2026 with a blast!

Twenty one pilots, duo Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun,  gave festival goers an energy-filled send-off to the music festival, filled with fireworks, crowd-surfing and a drum show.

The duo opened the show with “Overcompensate,” “The Contract” and “Center Mass.” Lead vocalist Joseph starts the shows wearing a monkey mask and jackets, almost a costume of sorts and slowly takes it off throughout their opening.

It was almost like the band was opening themselves up to the audience at the show, especially since Joseph took the mask off at the end of “Promises and Contracts.”

The band continued and sang other hits such as “Jumpsuit,” “Nico and the Niners” and “Heavydirtysoul.” During their shows, Dun climbs a tower and puts on a jam-packed drum show and plays “Drum Show.”

The set slowed down for a stripped down version of “Drag Path.”

Jack White made a surprise cameo via a recorded video giving the duo permission to play, “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes. “From the Queen of England to ACL,” the audience was jumping and singing along to the duo’s take on the classic song.

The duo ended the show by playing their hit songs, “Stressed Out” and “Trees.”

Singer-songwriter, Audrey Hobert, took the T-Mobile stage earlier in the day and young girls and women were singing and dancing with Hobert.

Playing the second-to-last show on her “Staircase to Stardom Tour” supporting her debut album “Who’s the Clown?” Hobert sang “Sex and the city,” “Bowling Alley” and “Sue Me.”

Earlier in the day, Joshua Jensen, played his first-ever live show solo on the Miller Lite stage. The singer-songwriter sang both of his released singles “Hoping” and “People are watching.”

His set was fun, relaxing and filled with good lyrics.

Read Space City Frequency’s interview with Jensen to learn more about the artist.

Other artists such as Thomas Day, Saint Motel, Charlotte Lawrence and Blood Orange, also performed across different stages on the last day of the festival.

While the music festival came to an end, Zeigler park will see you all next year for more music and festivities. Be sure to stay tuned for Space City frequency’s post coverage of Weekend Two of ACL!
